(1) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this regulation, the following persons must return the following jewels received by the Ministry of Home Affairs in accordance with the immediately applicable laws related to jewels before the commencement of the Act within the period specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette:- Medals received in a political capacity, B0 Medals received in a political capacity by persons directly involved in politics, C0 Any medal received by any Nepali citizen named after or related to the immediately existing monarchy or persons related to it.
(2) If a notice as per sub-rule (1) is published, it shall be the duty of the person who has received such a medal to return it within the period specified in the said notice.
